Job Purpose

As the Senior Human Resource Associate, your mission is threefold:

  1. To provide comprehensive HR support across all functional areas including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, performance management, occupational health and safety, and exit management.
  2. To lead the design and implementation of talent management programs aimed at enhancing employee engagement, retention, and capability development.
  3. To drive the execution of sound HR strategies, policies, and frameworks that support business success and organizational efficiency.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition

  • Lead and manage full-cycle recruitment to ensure timely hiring aligned with the approved manpower plan.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes and selection activities to fill vacancies efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee onboarding and induction processes to integrate new employees smoothly into the organization.
  • Promote the company’s brand as an Employer of Choice by leveraging diverse recruitment platforms and outreach strategies.
  • Spearhead the annual manpower planning cycle, ensuring alignment with the organization’s operating budget and strategic objectives.

2. Training and Development

  • Lead the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) process in collaboration with department heads to identify competency gaps.
  • Develop and implement an annual training calendar that addresses skill gaps and promotes continuous learning.
  • Coordinate both internal and external training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and quality delivery.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback mechanisms, post-training assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate management and leadership development initiatives to attract, nurture, and retain high-potential employees.
  • Support departmental succession planning and career development frameworks.
  • Maintain compliance with training policies and statutory guidelines.
  • Keep accurate training documentation and produce periodic reports for management evaluation.
  • Foster a workplace culture of growth, learning, and professional development.

3. Benefit Administration and Payroll

  • Oversee the development and execution of competitive benefits and rewards systems to attract and retain top talent.
  • Administer welfare programs and wellness initiatives to promote employee well-being and engagement.
  • Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness of payroll processing and disbursement.
  • Monitor statutory deductions and ensure compliance with pension contribution and legal remittance deadlines.
  • Manage staff insurance benefits including Medical, WIBA, and Group Life.
  • Oversee leave management systems, staff attendance, and maintain related records.
  • Prepare and manage the HR budget, aligning it with organizational financial planning and cost-efficiency targets.

4. Talent Management and Performance

  • Drive the adoption and implementation of a performance management system that aligns employee outputs with organizational strategy.
  • Champion succession planning and develop leadership pipelines to ensure future organizational stability.
  • Offer advisory support on change management strategies and organizational restructuring where necessary.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations management, grievance resolution, and disciplinary oversight.
  • Produce HR reports and analytics that inform strategic decision-making and contribute to board-level discussions.
  • Coordinate occupational safety and health compliance, including risk assessments, safety trainings, and staff awareness campaigns to promote a secure working environment.
