Kenya Seed Company is offering industrial attachment opportunities in the following three key departments:
1. Quality Assurance (QA) Attachment
Job Description:
As an Industrial Attaché in the Quality Assurance Department, you will be involved in monitoring and maintaining the quality of seeds and related agricultural products. This is a highly technical and regulated field that plays a crucial role in the delivery of top-quality planting materials to farmers across Kenya and the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in quality checks of incoming raw materials and finished seed products.
- Support sampling, testing, and laboratory analysis processes.
- Participate in compiling and analyzing product quality data.
- Work alongside quality inspectors to verify compliance with set industry standards.
- Contribute to documentation and record-keeping in line with internal quality protocols.
- Engage in daily QA operations to understand key metrics, risk points, and control procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for quality systems.

2. Research Attachment

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist research officers in collecting, recording, and interpreting field data.

Eligibility and Duration
This industrial attachment is open to students currently enrolled in recognized universities, technical colleges, and other institutions of higher learning. The duration of the attachment will align with your institutional requirements, typically between 8 to 12 weeks.
Each successful applicant will be expected to complete a NITA Industrial Attachment Contract Form, which formalizes their placement and outlines roles and responsibilities during the attachment period.
