Reporting to the Brand Manager the successful candidate will assist the Brand Manager in evaluating, developing and implementing brand activities that will ensure profitable brands by understanding, anticipating, creating and meeting consumer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing project proposals, timeframes, schedules and budget
- Assist the Brand Manager in implementing short, and long term corporate objectives, policies and strategies and regularly review these objectives.
- Assist with product introductions, communication development and implementation of promotional plans timeously
- Act effectively on all matters related to brand management, in keeping with the standards and ideals.
- Assist with monitoring and controlling of brand budgets
- Constantly liaise with sales management to maintain awareness on market situations, potential threats and opportunities, and undertake regular visits to the market place and sales Regions for this purpose.
- Assist the Brand Manager with liaising with relevant factory planning, purchasing personnel and any other relevant departments in order to ensure the development of products in line with marketing objectives, plans and timetables.
- Gathering and interpretation of competitor intelligence
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
