1. Relationship Officers – Nairobi (6 Posts)
Job Purpose:
The Relationship Officer role is key to advancing member growth and satisfaction at Kimisitu DT Sacco. The position entails managing and strengthening relationships with new and existing members to drive member recruitment, retention, and the uptake of SACCO products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member Engagement & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective members through regular communication, addressing concerns, and offering tailored solutions that align with their financial goals. - Regional Sales Execution
Drive the achievement of assigned regional sales targets in collaboration with Regional Sales Agents, ensuring consistent growth in membership and product penetration. - Member Recruitment & Retention
Lead recruitment campaigns to attract new members while implementing strategies to retain existing ones, ensuring seamless onboarding and continued support. - Product Promotion & Cross-Selling
Educate members on the full range of Kimisitu Sacco’s products and services, encouraging cross-utilization to maximize member benefit and SACCO growth. - Sales & Marketing Participation
Actively participate in marketing activations, roadshows, and outreach programs to increase visibility, boost membership, and grow deposits and loan portfolios. - Member Education & Awareness
Organize and facilitate financial literacy sessions, workshops, and presentations to inform members about product offerings and wise financial decision-making. - Supervision of Regional Sales Agents
Guide, monitor, and mentor assigned Regional Sales Agents to ensure alignment with SACCO objectives and professional performance. - Financial Advisory
Provide professional financial advice to members on available SACCO products to help them make informed borrowing and investment decisions. - Reporting & Performance Analysis
Generate regular reports on member interactions, product uptake, member feedback, and sales performance for review by the Senior Marketing Officer. - Internal Collaboration
Coordinate with internal departments such as Loans, Customer Service, and Marketing to enhance service delivery and member satisfaction. - Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all member interactions adhere to SACCO policies including KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and other legal guidelines.

2. Finance Manager (1 Post)
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
Work Location: Kimisitu DT Sacco Headquarters
Job Purpose:
The Finance Manager oversees the financial health of the Sacco by formulating and implementing strategic financial policies, ensuring compliance with international standards, and leading a high-performing finance team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sound financial strategies and systems aligned with the strategic plan.
- Administer and regularly review accounting norms and procedures.
- Forecast financial trends and advise the CEO and Board.
- Oversee prudent financial management and investment decisions.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Lead budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks.
- Supervise, mentor, and appraise departmental staff performance.
- Manage internal controls, audit processes, and risk management frameworks.
- Drive ERP and technological innovations in financial operations.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- CPA (K) or ACCA and ICPAK membership.
- At least 8 years’ experience in financial management.
- Proficiency in IFRS, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems.

3. Principal Officer – Kimisitu Insurance Agency (1 Post)
Reporting to: Kimisitu DT Sacco Board
Work Location: Nairobi
Job Purpose:
The Principal Officer is responsible for strategic and operational leadership of Kimisitu Insurance Agency, including sales growth, customer service, compliance, and financial management.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategy for sustainable growth.
- Ensure financial performance and budgetary discipline.
- Oversee claims handling procedures and operational performance.
- Steer sales strategy and implement customer service excellence.
- Coordinate insurance products marketing, proposals, and policy management.
- Ensure compliance with Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) guidelines.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships and networks.
- Monitor policy renewals, premium collection, and customer retention.
- Submit bi-weekly performance updates to the Sacco management.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Degree in a business-related field such as Insurance, Marketing, or Economics.
- ACII, IIK, or Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Insurance.
- Over 5 years’ experience in insurance industry at managerial level.
- Familiarity with IRA regulations and insurance operations.

4. Risk & Compliance Officer (1 Post)
Reporting to: Senior Legal Officer
Work Location: Kimisitu DT Sacco Headquarters
Job Purpose:
The Risk & Compliance Officer is tasked with implementing enterprise-wide risk management frameworks and ensuring regulatory compliance across all operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation of the SACCO’s risk management framework.
- Identify, monitor, and report institutional risks and risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct internal quality control reviews across departments.
- Coordinate preparation and presentation of risk and compliance reports.
- Advise on compliance with AML, Data Protection, SASRA, UFAA, and other regulations.
- Manage internal audit follow-ups and risk control self-assessments.
- Build a risk-aware culture through training, policy review, and systems establishment.
- Conduct feasibility and risk reviews for new processes, products, and projects.
- Ensure business continuity through disaster recovery planning and incident management.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant fields.
- Professional body membership is required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in risk and compliance roles, preferably in a financial institution.
