Job Description

As the Data and Operations Intern, you will support the Innovation team in tracking trial performance, sales conversions, and identifying potential opportunities for improvement through data.

You’ll be expected to analyze operational and customer data, develop reports, and generate near real-time insights to guide strategic decisions. Your work will directly influence how SunCulture tests and improves new product and service offerings across its markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis
    • Analyze operational, sales, and customer trial data to uncover patterns, trends, and key insights.
    • Support development of performance metrics and data visualizations.
  • Reporting
    • Create and maintain comprehensive reports that track trial effectiveness, customer feedback, and sales performance.
    • Deliver data summaries to support senior leadership and field teams.
  • Real-Time Insights
    • Provide timely data insights that can be used to make quick adjustments during trials.
    • Examples include:
      • Sales Outlet Analysis: Identify potential new sales locations and estimate how many new customers can be reached.
      • Customer Conversion Analysis: Study customer behavior to determine which profiles convert, which don’t, and why.
  • Data Management
    • Update and maintain databases with the latest information to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    • Troubleshoot inconsistencies or anomalies in data, working with relevant teams to address them.
  • Problem Solving
    • Identify and resolve operational issues using data.
    • Suggest improvements in workflows and trial processes based on analysis.
  • Documentation
    • Ensure all analysis procedures, assumptions, and outcomes are well documented for future reference and audit trails.
