1. Real Estate Manager

Job Ref. No: JLIL 310
Reporting to: Chief Finance Officer
Location: Head Office, Nairobi

Role Purpose

The Real Estate Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing Jubilee Life’s real estate portfolio across Kenya. The role involves strategic planning, property operations management, compliance, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership to optimize portfolio performance, sustainability, and tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement strategic real estate plans aligned with Jubilee’s goals and Kenya’s urban development trends.
  • Analyze market data to drive portfolio growth and diversification.
  • Utilize data analytics and proptech tools for forecasting and value optimization.
  • Identify and drive sustainable investment opportunities.

Property & Asset Management

  • Manage daily property operations, including leasing, rent collection, tenant relations, and maintenance.
  • Oversee budgets (OPEX and CAPEX) with a focus on cost-saving initiatives such as green technologies.
  • Coordinate repairs, renovations, and maintenance to preserve asset value.
  • Lead marketing and leasing efforts, ensuring seamless rent invoicing and collection.
  • Implement property management software and conduct tenant satisfaction surveys to improve services.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with Kenyan laws, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Oversee lease documentation and contracts in collaboration with Legal and Finance teams.
  • Manage risk through insurance, resilience planning, and detailed record-keeping.

Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Negotiate lease agreements and terms with tenants, owners, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to enhance property performance.
  • Screen and recommend prospective tenants and oversee letting agents.
  • Resolve tenant disputes while maintaining high satisfaction levels.

Leadership & Culture

  • Lead and develop the property management team, promoting accountability, innovation, and sustainability.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and drive initiatives aligned with company goals.
  • Mentor team members to build expertise in proptech and sustainability practices.

2. System Analyst – Pension

Job Ref. No: JLIL 312
Reporting to: Senior Manager – Long Term Applications
Location: Head Office, Nairobi

Role Purpose

The System Analyst – Pension will design, develop, maintain, and support pension systems used by internal teams. The role will enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance with ICT standards, and support Jubilee Life’s digital transformation objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Support the digital transformation agenda by aligning pension systems with business growth strategies.
  • Participate in strategic technology projects advising on system architecture and design.
  • Identify and recommend emerging technologies to improve pension services.

Operational

  • Develop, test, and deploy new system functionalities using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and APEX.
  • Maintain the reliability, scalability, and integration of pension systems.
  • Manage interfaces and data flows including C2B and B2C portals.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of system issues and implement resolutions.
  • Support business teams in system usage, reporting, and data queries.
  • Create user manuals and conduct internal system training.

Corporate Governance

  • Ensure system development adheres to internal ICT policies and external regulatory frameworks.
  • Document system changes, releases, and incidents comprehensively.
  • Engage with Risk and Compliance teams on system audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Manage vendor relations to ensure compliance with service agreements.

Culture and People

  • Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior analysts and interns on best practices.
  • Uphold Jubilee Life’s values of customer centricity, integrity, and innovation.
  • Participate in skill development initiatives and support internal knowledge sharing.

3. Pension Administrator

Job Ref. No: JLIL 313
Reporting to: Assistant Manager – Pensions
Location: Head Office, Nairobi

Role Purpose

The Pension Administrator is responsible for conserving existing pension business, providing superior service to retirement benefits clients, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Operational

  • Maintain and update participant records, contribution histories, and benefit calculations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to pension clients and resolve related inquiries.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance administrative efficiency.
  • Generate and submit timely statistical reports and regulatory returns for assigned schemes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement system enhancements and automation.

Corporate Governance

  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies in all pension servicing operations.
  • Protect customer information through strict data protection and privacy practices.
  • Participate in internal audits, addressing gaps and improving control measures.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely compliance with industry standards.

Culture

  • Foster a corporate culture of ethical practices, inclusivity, and corporate citizenship.
  • Develop personalized growth plans to align individual career goals with company objectives.
