Purpose of the Role

The Delivery & Change Analyst will ensure strong change management plans are developed and implemented across the D&T agenda within the region. You will work closely with Value Streams, Project Managers, and wider D&T teams to integrate change into overall plans, ensuring that the business has the capacity to absorb new changes. The role also focuses on the ongoing adoption and maximum utilization of existing systems, ensuring value realization.

Context and Scope

Digital & Technology (D&T) at Diageo delivers products to all markets and functions. The Delivery & Change Analyst will work across regional D&T forums and engage with senior business stakeholders. Your portfolio may cover complex geographic areas, functional domains, processes, and system footprints, making stakeholder management and change delivery a key part of your responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Regional D&T Leadership Team and leverage the broader team’s deliverables to ensure that D&T solutions meet the markets’ needs.
  • Work with Value Streams to assess change impacts early in projects and programs to determine resource needs.
  • Define and manage overarching change plans across the region, ensuring that change impacts are effectively addressed.
  • Create a robust stakeholder map to identify key sponsors, supporters, and advocates.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with senior regional stakeholders.
  • Coach sponsors and stakeholders on their responsibilities for leading and embedding change beyond project delivery.
  • Develop and support an extended network of change resources across the region.
  • Govern and support the use of Diageo’s change framework to maintain high standards in project execution.
  • Identify potential risks and anticipated blockers at a program level and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct continuous assessments of business readiness, adapting plans based on market and environmental conditions.
  • Capture and track metrics to evaluate the value and impact of change management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with global value streams and regional teams to ensure project change success and capability adoption.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for improving ways of working to deliver change more effectively.

Market Complexity

The role spans across a broad and diverse market landscape, working with multiple countries and functional teams. You will often deal with complex and matrixed organizational structures, requiring superior influencing and communication skills.


Leadership Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with both the regional and global D&T teams.
  • Represent D&T interests and capabilities at senior business forums.
  • Advocate for and drive continuous improvement in change management practices.
  • Influence key stakeholders to ensure adoption and sustainment of technology solutions.

  • Proven experience managing technology change within large, complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong business relationships.
  • Strong influencing skills across different cultures and leadership levels.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and performance excellence.
  • Ability to anticipate risks and performance challenges and influence appropriate actions.
  • Comfort in fluid, fast-paced environments with high levels of ambiguity.
  • Strong understanding of industry and emerging business, consumer, and technology trends.
