1. Pharmaceutical Technologist
Location: Kinoo
As a Pharmaceutical Technologist at Equity Afia Kinoo, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective dispensing of medications, advising patients on proper use of prescribed drugs, and maintaining stock levels within the pharmacy. This role requires a commitment to upholding professional standards and delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription and non-prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide professional advice to patients on drug usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain accurate patient medication records and ensure privacy and confidentiality.
- Assist in managing pharmacy inventory including stock-taking and order processing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure patient safety and optimal therapeutic outcomes.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
- At least one (1) year working experience in a hospital or pharmacy set-up.
- Must be registered and hold a valid license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- Proficiency in computer applications is essential.
2. Facility Administrator (2 Positions)
Location: Ruiru
We are looking for two highly organized and proactive Facility Administrators to manage day-to-day operations at our outpatient facility in Ruiru. The ideal candidates will be passionate about healthcare service delivery, possess strong leadership capabilities, and ensure a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operational functions of the outpatient facility, including clinical and non-clinical activities.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to facility staff to ensure service excellence.
- Monitor and uphold clinical standards, patient safety protocols, and service efficiency.
- Coordinate scheduling and ensure optimal utilization of staff and resources.
- Manage budgets, procurement processes, and inventory for medical and office supplies.
- Drive business development efforts to expand facility services and client base.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Handle patient feedback and implement improvements based on client satisfaction surveys.
- Support marketing and community outreach initiatives to promote facility visibility.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality care and smooth operations.
