1. Sales Executive / Relationship Manager

Purpose of the Job:
The Sales Executive/Relationship Manager will spearhead strategies that grow the hospital’s market presence and revenue. The ideal candidate will build strong partnerships, drive client acquisition, and maintain effective engagement with key stakeholders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with the hospital’s objectives.
  • Onboard and manage partnerships with insurance firms, agents, and corporate medical schemes.
  • Boost patient traffic from uninsured patients and partner schemes.
  • Lead and coordinate hospital-wide marketing campaigns, including digital promotions.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to strengthen market positioning.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to introduce new services and healthcare packages.
  • Promote wellness initiatives including health talks and medical camps.
  • Design and monitor business development plans (quarterly, monthly, weekly).
  • Oversee the marketing budget and optimize resources for cost-efficiency.
  • Build strong referral networks with medical professionals and institutions.
  • Monitor and support uptake of specialized clinics and services.
  • Track and evaluate return on investment (ROI) for development activities.
  • Implement customer relationship management strategies to improve satisfaction.
  • Strengthen stakeholder and community relations.
  • Lead and mentor the internal business development team.
  • Track team performance and prepare timely reports.
  • Coordinate creation of promotional materials with marketing teams.
  • Manage social media, email marketing, and website content strategies.

2. Medical Laboratory Technologist

Purpose of the Job:
To ensure quality diagnostic services through accurate sample handling and laboratory procedures in compliance with medical standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect, prepare, and dispose of lab specimens appropriately.
  • Maintain cleanliness of laboratory apparatus and equipment.
  • Record and manage laboratory data and logs.
  • Handle inventory and stock levels efficiently.
  • Perform any other lab-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical and attention to detail skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Teamwork, problem-solving, and cultural awareness.

3. Pharmaceutical Technologist

Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for accurate drug dispensing, patient medication counseling, and managing pharmaceutical inventory.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescriptions accurately.
  • Advise patients on medication usage and side effects.
  • Compound and prepare pharmaceutical preparations.
  • Monitor compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations.
  • Maintain stock levels and conduct regular stock takes.
  • Ensure accurate and complete patient records in HMIS.
  • Work in collaboration with other healthcare providers.

4. Billing Clerk

Purpose of the Job:
To manage patient registration and billing processes efficiently and accurately.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Capture patient demographic data in HMIS.
  • Handle billing for outpatient and inpatient services.
  • Process insurance pre-authorizations and track claims.
  • Prepare and send invoices to insurers and patients.
  • Reconcile accounts and process refunds when necessary.
  • Review and verify discharge sheets and cost summaries.
  • Submit batched claims to SHIF and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Handle inquiries and protect hospital’s image through professionalism.
  • Communicate with patients regarding billing procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold hospital etiquette.

5. Receptionist

Purpose of the Job:
To offer front office services including patient registration, file management, and customer support.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately register patients and input data into HMIS.
  • Assist patients with insurance forms and pre-authorizations.
  • Maintain and retrieve patient medical records.
  • Record outpatient diagnosis and compile statistical data.
  • Validate insurance coverage and ensure proper documentation.
  • Handle patient admissions and liaise with nursing for bed assignments.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patient inquiries.
  • Maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service.
  • Organize medical files and ensure proper filing.
