1. Employee Relations and Wellness Analyst

Reporting to: Head – Employee Relations & Wellness

Job Purpose:
The Employee Relations and Wellness Analyst will provide administrative and analytical support to the Employee Relations function. The position is instrumental in collecting, compiling, and analyzing employee relations data, metrics, and statistics, using these insights to make recommendations aligned with the department’s key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support ER operations with comprehensive administrative assistance.
  • Gather and analyze employee data related to grievances, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation of ER issues.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for management insights and decision-making.
  • Offer data-driven recommendations for policy and process improvements.
  • Assist in coordinating employee wellness programs and engagement initiatives.

2. Legal Counsel, Commercial

Reporting to: Head Counsel, Commercial

Job Purpose:
The Legal Counsel, Commercial is responsible for managing a portfolio that includes contracting, providing legal opinions and research, administering probate matters, and delivering legal awareness training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review commercial agreements to safeguard the Bank’s interests.
  • Offer legal opinions and conduct research on various issues as required by business units.
  • Provide legal support in probate matters affecting the bank.
  • Conduct legal awareness training sessions for internal staff.
  • Advise on regulatory compliance, legal risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with external counsel where necessary.

3. Assistant Manager, Agribusiness

Job Purpose:
This role focuses on the growth and profitability of the agricultural portfolio. The Assistant Manager will drive the market share in the agribusiness value chain through strategy development and execution, while ensuring growth of assets, liabilities, and overall relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute agribusiness strategies and initiatives.
  • Grow the Bank’s share in the agricultural sector through partnerships and client acquisition.
  • Manage client relationships across the agribusiness value chain.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and take corrective action when needed.
  • Work closely with credit and risk teams to manage portfolio quality.
  • Travel up to 60% of the time to engage stakeholders and clients.

4. Manager, Growth – International Francophone (DRC, Rwanda, Burundi)

Job Purpose:
The Manager will lead the scaling of digital products within KCB’s Francophone markets. The role involves ensuring the adoption, embedment, and value creation from digital solutions across subsidiaries in DRC, Rwanda, and Burundi.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incubate, scale, and monitor digital products to meet business plans.
  • Drive adoption and usage of digital payment, lending, and savings products.
  • Leverage the subsidiaries’ branch and corporate networks for product penetration.
  • Analyze market trends and tailor products to specific country needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting metrics for performance tracking.

5. Manager, Card Systems

Job Purpose:
The Manager, Card Systems will oversee the maintenance and performance of the Card Management System, ensuring it delivers high availability and reliable service to all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the operational integrity and availability of the Card Management System.
  • Provide timely support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implement upgrades and system patches to maintain system performance.
  • Monitor system logs and proactively address potential issues.
  • Maintain compliance with card association requirements and security standards.
  • Train and support card center teams on system-related functions.

6. Branch Manager, Lodwar Branch

Reporting to: Regional Business Manager, Nairobi Environs

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and operational excellence of the Lodwar branch. The role focuses on business growth, risk management, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow the branch’s portfolio in deposits, lending, and customer base.
  • Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with risk policies.
  • Oversee the branch’s daily operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.

7. Cybersecurity Specialist – Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Job Purpose:
This specialist role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across KCB Group. The role promotes cybersecurity standards such as least privilege, role-based access control, and just-in-time access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the IAM subject matter expert for the group.
  • Develop IAM policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Implement IAM tools to manage identity lifecycle and access rights.
  • Monitor access controls, segregation of duties, and policy compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams on secure system integration.
  • Manage privileged access and enforce security best practices.
