Reporting to the Managing Director and CEO, Co-operative Bank of South Sudan, the treasurer will be responsible to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the full range of treasury products and services including foreign exchange, fixed income and forex corporate services and off-balance sheet products.
The role
The successful jobholder will be expected to:
- To implement the treasury sales plan covering all treasury products.
- To ensure high standards of customer service to both internal and external.
- Actively contributes to improvements in quality/efficiency of treasury products and delivery process.
- Actively support product development.
- Assist in developing and maintaining client tele sales and visits schedule and follow up on reported action points.
- Track overall forex volumes per branch for all major currencies on a daily basis
- Track money transfer sales at all branches on a monthly basis.
- Keeping customers informed on what is happening in the market and concluding deals with them.
- Take minutes on ALCO meeting.
- Liquidity management.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
The successful jobholder will be required to possess the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in any related field.
- Certified foreign exchange and Money market dealers (ACI)
- Computer Literacy/ CPA added advantage
- 3 Years of experience in a busy dealing room/ treasury function
