Driver – Kisii
Key Responsibilities:
- i. Safely transporting the research team and study materials to various field sites.
- ii. Ensure the team arrives on time for scheduled meetings, community engagement, and data collection activities.
- iii. Perform routine checks on the vehicle, including tyres, brakes, fluid levels, and general mechanical condition.
- iv. Advise when service is due and deliver the vehicle for service or repairs.
- v. Ensure the vehicle is always fueled and keep a record of all fuel refills.
- vi. Ensure the vehicle is always clean, well-maintained both inside and out, and ready for use.
- vii. Ensure that vehicle log sheets are filled out every time the vehicles are in use.
- viii. Report any defects, accidents, violations, or damage
- ix. Ensure that the vehicle complies with safety standards, is roadworthy, and has the necessary documentation (insurance, registration, etc)
- x. Ensure that the vehicle is locked, parked safely in its designated parking slots, and keys returned to the study coordinator at the end of every trip.
- xi. Maintain regular communication with the study coordinator regarding transportation schedule and requirements.
