1. Audiovisual Officer Intern

Location: Nairobi, Nairobi County, Kenya

As an Audiovisual Officer Intern, you will support the Communications Department by capturing, producing, and editing high-quality video and audio content for use across digital platforms and campaigns. Your role will be critical in documenting field activities, telling impactful stories, and enhancing KRCS’s visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in filming and photographing field activities and corporate events.
  • Edit raw footage to produce polished, engaging video content.
  • Work with the communications team to conceptualize visual storytelling ideas.
  • Archive audiovisual materials systematically.
  • Support live streaming of webinars and virtual events.

2. Commercial Production Intern

Location: Nairobi, Nairobi County, Kenya

The Commercial Production Intern will work closely with the in-house media production team to create dynamic commercial content. This includes developing promotional videos, branded media materials, and supporting KRCS partners on multimedia assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the production of promotional and awareness videos for campaigns.
  • Assist in scripting, storyboarding, and planning shoots for commercial clients.
  • Operate cameras and assist in audio recording during shoots.
  • Support post-production editing and rendering of content.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure brand consistency and satisfaction.

3. Head Steward – Kitchen

Location: Nairobi, Central, Kenya
Department: Culinary Arts

The Head Steward – Kitchen plays a vital role in ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in the kitchen environment. You will lead the stewarding team to support chefs and kitchen staff with hygiene practices, equipment care, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise stewarding staff and manage cleaning schedules.
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas.
  • Monitor proper waste disposal and pest control in line with health standards.
  • Assist in inventory checks and maintaining kitchen supplies.
  • Enforce safety procedures and conduct routine inspections.

4. Multimedia Editor Intern

As a Multimedia Editor Intern, you will help bring stories to life through compelling visuals. You will be responsible for editing videos, creating motion graphics, and collaborating on campaigns that elevate KRCS’s communication initiatives.

5. Training Research Assistant Intern

The Training Research Assistant Intern will provide support in collecting and analyzing data related to the design and effectiveness of KRCS training programs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education, research, and program development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing training needs assessments and feedback surveys.
  • Collect and compile data from participants and training reports.
  • Support the monitoring and evaluation of training sessions.
