Key Responsibilities:
- · Conduct group and individual agricultural training to study participants and develop and maintain the Mama Shamba Maisha model farm.
- · Organize demonstration plots within the demo farm for hands-on learning
- · Track the model farm productivity by keeping clear farm records
- · Provide continuous support through farm-based discussions with study participants
- · Work with the participants to ensure adoption of best practices for farming and sustainability strategies
- · Build relationships with farmers, community leaders and sub-county agricultural extension officers
- · Assist the Agriculture Training Coordinator in agricultural input pick up and distribution activities
- · Be involved in daily documentation of farming training activities and provide timely reports to the study team
- · Attend to other duties, as assigned by the study leadership
