1. Audiovisual Officer Intern
Minimum Requirements:
- A diploma or degree in Film, TV, Media, Communication, or a related field
- Basic skills in camera work, lighting, and audio.
- Strong interest in production, post-production, and/or media training
- A team player with a collaborative mindset
- Available for a full-time internship of at least 3 months
2. Commercial Production Intern
Key Responsibilities:
- Support idea generation, scripting, and concept development for client-driven productions.
- Assist in planning and executing video and multimedia content for various commercial campaigns.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure client briefs are translated into engaging visual content.
- Participate in client meetings, shoots, and post-production reviews.
3. Graphics Designer
Client Campaign Support
- Develop creative proposals and mock-ups for client presentations.
- Create branded assets for sponsored campaigns, influencer content, product promotions, and native advertising formats.
- Ensure consistency with brand guidelines across all client deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in graphic or digital design (experience in a media or agency setting is a plus).
4. Head Steward – Kitchen
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervision of duties of all stewards, kitchen facilities, and operations
- Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene as well as the quality level of products and services.
- Ensure back of house areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards and cleaning schedules are followed and completed.
- Directs and assists stewards in order to make clean up more efficient.
- Assist Chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
- Check more specifically the proper use of chemicals and washing detergents.
- Stock take of equipment and other items as required.
- Work with all departments to ensure items that are required for service are available
5. Multimedia Editor Intern
Switch Media Limited (a subsidiary of Kenya Red Cross Society) is seeking a Multimedia Editor Intern to support filming and post-production of audiovisual content for training, storytelling, and digital platforms. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow both behind the camera and in the edit suite.
6. Multimedia Journalist
The Multimedia Journalist is responsible for researching, producing, and publishing compelling stories across multiple formats—text, video, audio, graphics, and emerging digital formats—for Switch Media’s digital platforms and its clients. The role requires creativity, adaptability, and strong storytelling skills to create high-impact content that informs, engages, and grows audiences
7. Multimedia News Editor
The Multimedia News Editor is responsible for leading the production and publication of high-quality multimedia content including text stories, videos, info graphics, and emerging digital formats for Switch Media’s website and its clients. This role involves supervising a team of multimedia reporters, assigning content, ensuring editorial quality, and aligning all output with Switch Media’s standards for audience engagement, storytelling innovation, and commercial value
8. Security Officer
JOB SUMMARY:
The Security Officer will oversee related activities in safeguarding of the KRCS properties, staff at the KRCS headquarters, logistics center, Field Operations Teams, PNS operating in the country, and collaborate with the business entities security personnel to ensure a safe workplace.
9. Social Media Editor
The Social Media Editor will lead and execute Switch Media’s content strategy across digital platforms to grow audiences, increase engagement, and drive monetization. The ideal candidate is creative, strategic, and highly skilled in digital storytelling, audience engagement, and performance analytics.
Content Strategy & Execution
- Develop and manage content calendars for all Switch Media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, website) and those of its clients
- Create and publish multimedia content (text, graphics, video) tailored to each platform.
- Collaborate with video producers, designers, and copywriters to produce engaging content for both internal and client projects.
- Ensure consistency of brand tone, look, and feel across all digital touch points.
10.Training Research Assistant Intern
Switch Media School (SMS) is a premier institution in Kenya, dedicated to bridging the skill gap in Digital Media, Communication, and Technology. Fully owned by the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) and registered by TVETA and ICM, SMS provides hands-on training for media professionals and entrepreneurs. We’re looking for a Training Researcher Assistant Intern to help shape and inform media training initiatives.
