Corporate Health Sales Executive – FA Channel

Job Purpose

To grow the medical insurance business portfolio by acquiring new business through the In-house Intermediary Channel (FA Channel), providing excellent customer service, and ensuring policy renewals and timely premium collections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Secure new business directly and through internal (in-house) intermediaries within the FA Channel.
  • Deliver exceptional service to in-house intermediaries and clients, ensuring satisfaction and client retention.
  • Manage existing accounts and proactively work on policy renewals.
  • Collect and submit completed proposal forms and all required KYC documents to the underwriting team promptly.
  • Follow up on pending renewals and convert potential leads into clients.
  • Ensure timely premium collection in line with Britam’s credit control policy.
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales and pipeline reports as requested by the BDM – Corporate Health.
  • Conduct preliminary underwriting to evaluate risk and ensure proper onboarding of clients.
  • Handle customer and client inquiries efficiently and professionally.

Delegated Authority

Operations must comply with the authority limits defined in the approved Delegated Authority Matrix.


Corporate Health Sales Executive – External Intermediary Channel

Job Purpose

To drive growth in medical insurance through external intermediaries by acquiring new clients, maintaining solid relationships, and ensuring the delivery of tailored health insurance solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external intermediaries and brokers to secure new business.
  • Provide consistent follow-up to external partners on new opportunities and ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Maintain and service existing client portfolios effectively.
  • Facilitate submission of proposals and necessary documentation to the underwriting department.
  • Track and follow up on medical policy renewals in collaboration with external partners.
  • Ensure full compliance with Britam’s premium collection and credit control policies.
  • Prepare and provide accurate weekly business development reports.
  • Perform initial underwriting assessments and communicate with underwriters on risk acceptability.
  • Promptly respond to all client and intermediary queries to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Delegated Authority

Activities and decisions must fall within the limits prescribed in the official Delegated Authority Matrix.
