Farm trainers (4 positions)
Job Specification
– Conduct group and individual agricultural training to study participants and
develop and maintain the Mama Shamba Maisha model farm.
– Organize demonstration plots within the demo farm for hands-on learning
– Track the model farm productivity by keeping clear farm records
– Provide continuous support through farm-based discussions with study
participants
– Work with the participants to ensure adoption of best practices for farming and
sustainability strategies
-Build relationships with farmers, community leaders and sub-county agricultural
extension officers
-Assist the Agriculture Training Coordinator in agricultural input pick up and
distribution activities
