Position: Business Central Developer

We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Business Central Developer to join our forward-thinking Digital Division team. The successful candidate will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals to deliver innovative technology solutions aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Central Developer, you will be entrusted with various dynamic and challenging responsibilities. Your core tasks will include:
- Collaborating with internal project teams to identify and understand business needs.
- Investigating system challenges and recommending suitable technical solutions.
- Developing and deploying platform extensions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Continuously improving existing Business Central applications to adapt to growing and evolving user requirements.
- Conducting training sessions for users on Business Central functionalities to ensure optimal usage.
- Participating in the development and enhancement of technical and operational processes within the organization.
- Building integrations with Business Central using APIs for seamless interoperability with other systems.
- Supporting initiatives that identify and implement value-adding technological opportunities.
- Providing ongoing technical support to users through the help desk platform, ensuring minimal disruptions and high levels of satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a talented and self-driven professional who embodies innovation and efficiency. The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:
- A holder of an Upper Second Class Honours degree in Computer Science or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in Development within Microsoft Dynamics or Business Central environments.
- Proficiency in AL development, the programming language used for Business Central.
- Hands-on experience with integration to third-party applications, enabling seamless operational workflows.
- Working knowledge of Jet Reports is considered an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and its application in agile software development environments.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, including database optimization techniques.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills that promote collaborative teamwork and effective client engagement.
