Position: Digital Solutions Support Engineer
Location: Nairobi Head Office
Reports to: Group Digital Engineering Solutions Manager

About the Role
As a Digital Solutions Support Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-performance digital technologies and infrastructure solutions to clients and internal teams. This role bridges the gap between advanced engineering systems and customer applications, ensuring seamless implementation, training, and support across a range of innovative digital platforms.
You will work closely with sales, technical, and engineering teams to drive the successful deployment of solutions that power operations in water, energy, and building management sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Training & Support:
Conduct hands-on training for internal staff and clients on the company’s digital solutions. Ensure all stakeholders fully understand how to use systems and tools for optimal performance. - Sales Support:
Collaborate with the sales teams to follow up on leads and participate in the pre-sales process. This includes providing detailed technical demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients. - Deployment & Integration:
Carry out end-to-end deployment and integration of both software and hardware digital solutions. This includes but is not limited to:- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- SCADA and Internet of Things (IoT) Platforms
- Power Monitoring and Control Systems
- Smart and Prepaid Metering Solutions
- Data Centre Infrastructure Solutions
- Technical Expertise:
Troubleshoot systems issues, provide expert-level guidance on optimal system usage, and ensure solutions are operating at maximum efficiency. - Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain meticulous records of all deployments, configurations, support sessions, and training workshops to ensure traceability and continuity.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering—or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in a digital engineering support role or similar position.
- Solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience in:
- ICT Networking
- Operational Technology (OT) deployments
- Industrial Control System (ICS) integrations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- High levels of initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel when required.
