Branch Manager – Online Branch

We are looking for a visionary Branch Manager – Online Branch to lead our virtual learning center and ensure exceptional delivery of online educational services.

Job Purpose

The role holder will be responsible for the overall administration, operation, and performance of the Online Branch. This includes managing online learning infrastructure, ensuring quality customer service, supervising staff, promoting KIM’s programs, and contributing to revenue growth through innovative online strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of quality services at the Online Branch in line with the Institute’s standards, policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Supervise staff and online lecturers to ensure smooth operations and seamless service delivery.
  • Drive the marketing and promotion of KIM’s online offerings—including courses, certifications, and membership services—through various digital channels.
  • Serve as a liaison between online learners/customers and internal departments to communicate needs and feedback.
  • Manage online learning platforms such as LMS, virtual classrooms, and student portals for maximum efficiency and usability.
  • Generate and present periodic performance reports on the Online Branch, covering aspects such as revenue growth, student enrollment, marketing activities, and membership performance.
  • Represent senior management at the branch level, communicating institutional policies and decisions.
  • Approve operational imprests and ensure prudent financial management at the branch level.
  • Promote student welfare and serve as Chair of the Student Welfare Committee.
  • Oversee the integrity and timeliness of examination processes at the Online Branch.
  • Take charge of student admission, academic progression, and retention efforts, focusing on expanding online education.

Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Membership with The Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).
  • A minimum of six (6) years of cumulative experience, with at least five (5) years in a managerial position.
