The Economic Advantages of Readers for Near Vision (EARN Trial) is a prospective, singlemasked, parallel-group, two-arm, individually randomized controlled trial whose primary aim is to determine whether providing near-vision glasses to people of working age with presbyopia leads to increased household consumption and/or vision-related quality of life.
