The role of Driver is vital to the efficient functioning of our college. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the safe and timely transportation of students, staff, and visitors. This includes adherence to traffic and institutional regulations, maintenance of vehicle cleanliness and readiness, and supporting both routine and event-based transportation needs.
Job Description:
- Safely operate college vehicles to transport students, staff, and visitors between locations including campuses, clinical sites, and event venues.
- Ensure punctuality and professionalism in all transportation assignments, maintaining a courteous and helpful attitude.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and perform routine maintenance inspections to guarantee roadworthiness and cleanliness.
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents immediately to appropriate college personnel.
- Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and institutional transportation policies.
- Assist passengers with boarding, luggage, and other transportation-related needs as required.
