1. Quality Assurance & Compliance Lead – Nairobi, Kenya
Role Overview:
As the Quality Assurance & Compliance Lead, you will play a crucial role in upholding M-KOPA’s high standards for operational integrity and regulatory compliance. This role sits within the Finance division and is key to maintaining customer trust and institutional credibility. You will work to ensure all internal processes align with legal frameworks, internal policies, and industry best practices, while also designing quality assurance protocols that prevent operational errors and inefficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies across multiple departments.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance and process integrity.
- Identify areas for improvement and drive corrective action plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to teams to ensure awareness of compliance obligations and quality standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and communicate implications for internal processes.
- Design dashboards and reporting systems for tracking key quality and compliance metrics.
- Serve as the primary contact for external audits and regulatory reviews.
2. Retail Operational Excellence Manager – Nairobi, Kenya
Role Overview:
The Retail Operational Excellence Manager is a pivotal role within M-KOPA’s Retail business function. This individual will spearhead strategic initiatives to optimize retail performance, elevate customer satisfaction, and enhance service delivery across our markets. By focusing on systems, processes, and performance metrics, this role will ensure that M-KOPA’s retail operations are consistently running at peak efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the formulation and execution of retail operational strategies to drive performance improvement.
- Establish operational benchmarks and metrics to evaluate efficiency and service delivery.
- Work with cross-functional teams to streamline retail processes and reduce operational costs.
- Leverage data analytics to generate insights into customer behavior and retail performance.
- Design and implement tools and frameworks that promote operational excellence at the retail level.
- Drive change management initiatives across the retail function, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal departments and field teams to deliver retail goals.
3. Process Improvement Lead – Nairobi, Kenya
Role Overview:
The Process Improvement Lead will focus on enhancing the efficiency and scalability of M-KOPA’s internal processes. Working in close collaboration with multiple departments, this role is responsible for identifying process gaps, designing effective solutions, and leading the implementation of process optimization initiatives that will support the company’s rapid growth and evolving customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and map existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process reengineering initiatives to improve productivity and reduce operational risk.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to streamline workflows.
- Partner with functional leaders to drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
- Monitor performance post-implementation and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in process improvement and innovation.
- Utilize performance data to report on the impact of process changes and recommend further action where needed.
