Job Description
To execute technical, digital, data platform strategies, solutions and roadmaps that encompass the current and future needs of the business, technology and platforms ensuring the integrity, consistency and resilience of platform features and functions across geographies.To manage backlog of defects, gaps and design features (as well as technical debt items) ensuring availability, reliability, performance and security to appropriate levels, enabling high quality customer services across the Group
Qualifications
Type of Qualification: Post Graduate Degree
Field of Study: Information Studies or Engineering
Experience Required
8-10 years
A solid Integration and IT background, consistently keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field. Proven track record to a broad spectrum of stakeholders including senior executives. Knowledge of Agile and Lean frameworks, methods and practices and experience in being a catalyst for organisational change. Experience working with cross-functional teams fostering collaboration and team work. Good understanding of the Standard Bank IT environment.
Experience in the full lifecycle design and development covering solution design, application design, development, testing and maintenance, network software, operating systems, multi-tier environments, desktop and workgroup software, middleware, server technology, fault tolerant environments, development tools
