Summary
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing support in financial operations within the department. They MUST possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting preferably in the Hospitality Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Maintain financial records and documentation, ensuring that all financial data is accurately recorded and readily accessible for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Manage petty cash, ensuring timely reconciliation to maintain a clear audit trail and prevent discrepancies.
- Update and maintain the asset register to accurately track the organization’s tangible assets.
- Assist in preparing and filing statutory documents and reports to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements as well as responsible for KRA follow-ups.
- Preparing of VAT schedules, reconcile customer accounts and ensure VAT withholding taxes are paid on time.
- Responsible for filing and management of all documents.
- Management of inventory.
- Any other financial/accounting function that is reasonably expected of the position.
This position is at a location where Hyatt is not the employer. The employer of individuals working at this hotel may be a third-party management company that is responsible for all employment benefits and obligations at this location.
