1. College Driver
KISWCD is looking for a responsible and experienced College Driver to support transportation needs for staff, students, and institutional logistics. The ideal candidate should be dependable, safety-conscious, and familiar with Nairobi and surrounding regions.
Job Description:
The Driver will be tasked with providing safe and efficient transportation services, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and readiness, and ensuring compliance with traffic and institutional regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive staff, students, and guests as required.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle use and fuel consumption.
- Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
- Report mechanical issues and ensure timely servicing of the vehicle.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Assist with errands and delivery of official documents.
- Support the institution’s logistics needs during events and field activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum KCSE grade D+ or above.
- A valid PSV driving license.
- Possession of an NYS certificate is an added advantage.
- Must have a valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the DCI.
- Must have over 5 years of experience in a similar driving position.
