Purpose of the Role
The role holder will ensure that all products and processes meet established quality standards and specifications. This includes maintaining the integrity of the quality system.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Medicine, Biology, or related scientific field
- Training in cGMP and GLP
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- Supervisory training (minimum two weeks)
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution

Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis on raw materials and finished products
- Maintain lab safety and hygiene standards

- Execute in-process controls and equipment calibrations
- Validate processes and evaluate quality assurance records
B. Senior Driver (KBI 10)

Location: Nairobi County
Reports to: Administration Officer
Salary Range: KES 59,456.00 – KES 79,534.00
Contract Term: Five (5) years, renewable
Purpose of the Role
To provide safe and professional driving services for the CEO/Director General, including vehicle care and minor maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum four (4) years of relevant driving experience
- KCSE Mean Grade D+ or equivalent
- Valid driving license (endorsed appropriately)
- Trade Test Grade I and Suitability Test Grade I
- Defensive Driving Certificate from a recognized institution
- First-Aid certificate from St. John Ambulance or equivalent
- Computer literacy
- Demonstrated merit and work performance

Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive assigned vehicles and maintain logbooks
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance
- Ensure passenger and vehicle safety

C. Driver II (KBI 11)

Reports to: Administration Officer
Salary Range: KES 54,450.00 – KES 68,400.00
Contract Term: Five (5) years, renewable
Purpose of the Role
To support the Institute through safe and timely transportation of staff and goods.
Qualifications and Experience
- Four (4) years minimum driving experience
- KCSE Mean Grade D+
- Valid and appropriate driving license
- Occupational Trade Test and Suitability Test Grade I
- Defensive Driving and First-Aid certification
- Computer literacy
- Proven performance and work ethic

Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport staff and cargo safely
- Perform routine vehicle checks
- Detect and report faults
