1. General Guidelines

  • Use BLOCK letters: All entries must be written in uppercase letters as instructed.
  • Be accurate and truthful: False or misleading information can lead to disqualification.
  • Attach certified copies of academic certificates, testimonials, registration certificates (for PWD), and any other relevant documents.
  • Submit the complete form: Incomplete forms will not be processed.
  • Deliver the form physically to the NCPWD offices at Waiyaki Way, Westlands (opposite ABC Place) or post to P. O. Box 66577 – 00800 Nairobi.

2. Section-by-Section Tips

Section 1: Vacancy Applied For

  • Clearly state the position title and the NCPWD job grade you are applying for, as indicated in the job advertisement.

Section 2: Personal Details

  • Ensure all personal details (name, ID, KRA PIN, gender, contacts) are accurate.
  • Provide full details of disability, if applicable, including:
    • Nature of disability.
    • Official registration number and date with NCPWD.
  • Include an alternative contact person for emergencies or follow-up.

Section 3: Applicants Already in NCPWD

  • Fill in this section only if you are a current employee of NCPWD.
  • Provide internal HR details such as department, personal number, substantive post, secondment details, and terms of service.

Section 4: All Other Applicants

  • This applies if you are not employed by NCPWD—you’ll continue from section 5.

3. Section 5–7: Academic and Professional Background

Section 5: Other Personal Details

  • Declare criminal convictions or disciplinary dismissals, if any, honestly. This won’t automatically disqualify you but is important for transparency.

Section 6: Academic Qualifications

  • Start from the highest qualification (e.g., PhD, Master’s) down to high school.
  • Include:
    • Course name and specialization.
    • Institution and period.
    • Final class or grade.

Section 7: Professional Certifications and Training

  • Include all technical/professional qualifications, such as CPA, HR certifications, or diploma courses.
  • List relevant short courses (minimum 1 week long), stating course name, institution, and duration.

4. Section 8–12: Work Experience and Skills

Section 8: Membership to Professional Bodies

  • Mention all active memberships (e.g., IHRM, ICPAK, EBK).
  • Indicate the type (e.g., Associate, Full) and registration number.

Section 9–10: Employment History

  • List your job experience starting from the most recent.
  • Include:
    • Dates (in dd-mm-yyyy format).
    • Designation and employer.
    • Job grade.
    • Gross monthly salary.

Section 11: Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide a concise but clear overview of your current or most recent role.
  • Highlight leadership, management, or technical duties.

Section 12: Skills and Achievements

  • Use this space to:
    • Showcase relevant abilities.
    • Summarize key achievements.
    • Briefly justify why you are suited for the position.

5. Section 13: Referees and Declaration

Referees

  • Provide three referees who know you professionally or academically.
  • Include:
    • Full name, occupation, and contact details.
    • Duration of acquaintance.
  • Avoid close family members as referees.

Declaration

  • Sign and date the form as confirmation that all provided information is truthful.

Final Submission Tips

  • Double-check all sections for completeness and consistency.
  • Ensure your email and phone number are active for follow-up.
  • If sending by post, use a reliable courier and keep a copy of your documents.
  • If delivering physically, confirm you submit at the right location.
