About the Role
As the Information Technology Operations Associate, you will be pivotal in supporting the efficiency and security of our IT infrastructure. You will work directly with the IT Operations Manager and collaborate with various internal teams to manage IT assets, enforce IT policies, streamline onboarding/offboarding processes, and support software license and access control.
This is an ideal role for someone with a solid foundational understanding of IT operations and a desire to grow within a dynamic, mission-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Asset Management & Procurement
- Assist in the full lifecycle of IT asset management—including procurement, tracking, and disposal of hardware, software, and network components.
- Collaborate with the procurement team and IT Operations Manager to source IT-related goods and services.
- Ensure inventory systems are accurate and up to date, and that all asset movements comply with organizational policies.
2. IT Policies & Implementations
- Support the implementation and enforcement of IT policies across the organization.
- Monitor organizational adherence to internal IT guidelines and industry compliance standards.
- Assist in revising and updating IT policies to adapt to evolving needs and technological advancements.
3. Network & Endpoint Security
- Contribute to the security and integrity of SunCulture’s network and IT infrastructure.
- Help implement security protocols that mitigate risks like unauthorized access or data breaches.
- Participate in regular security audits and work on closing any identified vulnerabilities.
4. Onboarding & Offboarding
- Facilitate the provisioning and de-provisioning of user accounts, systems access, and IT equipment during employee onboarding and exit processes.
- Work closely with the Human Resources team to ensure a seamless and secure transition for staff joining or leaving the company.
5. License & Access Management
- Assist in managing all software licenses and ensuring compliance with vendor agreements.
- Monitor and regulate access control mechanisms to ensure appropriate user permissions across platforms.
6. Team Collaboration & Support
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to support IT initiatives.
- Offer hands-on support to team members and help foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT department.
- Proactively assist with daily IT operations, providing responsive support to both in-office and remote staff.

- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Some experience in IT operations, especially in areas like asset management, procurement, and endpoint security.
- A basic understanding of network security protocols, IT policy enforcement, and access management systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for cross-departmental collaboration.
- A high degree of organizational ability and a keen eye for detail.
- A willingness to learn, grow, and adapt to new technologies and methods.
