Programme Officer – Grand Challenges Africa

Role Overview
The Programme Officer will ensure smooth programme operations across key functions, including documentation, reporting, procurement, grants management, and partnership engagement. The position calls for strong organizational and coordination skills to support multiple project streams simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of project deliverables including technical and financial reports.
- Facilitate procurement processes and manage vendor relationships to support programme activities.
- Oversee grant processing workflows including documentation, review, approvals, and monitoring.
- Maintain and update the GC Africa partnerships database with timely and accurate information.
- Assist in the organization and delivery of technical meetings, workshops, and presentations.
- Ensure timely reporting and knowledge flow between internal teams and external stakeholders.
What You Bring
You will bring experience in programme administration, grant coordination, and multi-stakeholder liaison in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with project management tools and donor reporting requirements is advantageous.
