We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Community Oral Health Officer (COHO)
Location: Kutus
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Community Oral Health Officer to join our Kutus medical center. The successful candidate will play a critical role in promoting oral hygiene and delivering preventative and curative oral health services to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dental health education and oral hygiene promotion
- Perform minor oral surgeries and clinical dental procedures
- Diagnose and manage common oral conditions
- Refer complex oral conditions for further management
- Maintain dental clinic equipment and ensure infection prevention protocols are followed
- Keep accurate patient records and generate oral health reports
Requirements:
- Diploma in Community Oral Health
- Registration with a valid license from Oral Health Association of Kenya (OHAK) or Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC)
- Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience
- Proficient in computer applications
- Good communication skills
