Job Summary
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide strategic leadership and oversee the overall management of the Hospital. As the accounting officer and the principal executive, the CEO is responsible for implementing the Board’s decisions and ensuring the hospital achieves its strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visionary and strategic leadership in alignment with the Hospital’s goals and national health priorities.
- Lead the development and execution of long-term strategies, with a view to creating value and sustainability.
- Foster a performance-driven culture and cultivate a highly motivated and professional team.
- Ensure prudent and effective utilization of resources for operational efficiency.
- Drive innovation in healthcare delivery, research, and training aligned with modern practices.
- Maintain robust governance and accountability structures.
- Promote strong partnerships and collaborations with government entities, development partners, research institutions, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and professional frameworks.
- Serve as the principal spokesperson of the Hospital, representing it in high-level stakeholder engagements.
