Corporate Advisory – Nairobi, Nairobi
Job Purpose
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Bank /Group’s team to manage corporate finance engagements.
- Financial and statistical analysis, financial modelling, writing and presentation of reports.
- Corporate finance technical work including valuation, and the accompanying research work and preparation of support documents.
- Performing due diligence services and processing of corporate advisory general works.
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors and other relevant stakeholders within the Group.
- Support the Corporate Advisory team in preparation of investor presentations for quarterly dissemination, annual integrated reports and other reports that may be required.
- Support the Corporate Advisory team on the implementation of the sustainability agenda, coordinate discussions with I&M’s subsidiaries and supporting the reporting of sustainability related matters.
- Other relevant tasks assigned.
The successful candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business related or any other relevant field.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, ACA or CISI and membership to a relevant professional body.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in capital markets /Banking/experience in significant corporate finance advisory roles.
- Working knowledge of the Capital Markets and Securities exchange regulatory framework in Kenya and other jurisdictions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Must demonstrate strategic thinking and insight.
- Expert experience with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
