Trees For The Future Hiring Program Driver -Kisumu, Kenya

by Recal

At Trees for the Future (TREES), we believe that farmers are the key to transforming the planet. For more than three decades, we’ve worked across the globe empowering farming communities to build sustainable food systems, healthy environments, and strong rural economies. Through our Forest Garden Approach, we help farmers restore degraded land, plant thousands of trees, and grow a wide variety of crops. This approach is a proven nature-based solution to climate change and poverty.

TREES operates in Kenya, Mali, Senegal, Tanzania, and Uganda, and has planted more than 350 million trees globally. Our team is united by a shared passion for environmental sustainability and community empowerment.

In Kenya, our work is centered around the Lake Victoria Watershed across three regions. With a team of more than 160 staff members, we work closely with over 20,000 farmers to implement the Forest Garden Approach. Our project, in partnership with Catona Climate, is in the process of Carbon Market verification. Once approved, farmers will benefit from carbon financing while simultaneously improving their land and livelihood. Learn more about our work at trees.org/lvcarbon.
