1. Relationship Manager – Nairobi Region

Department: Branch Banking
Reports to: Branch Manager
Location: Nairobi Region

Job Description:
The Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing and growing relationships with customers to achieve set deposit and lending targets. This role will involve acquiring new customers, deepening existing customer relationships, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain customers in the assigned region.
  • Grow the portfolio of SME, Retail, and Corporate clients.
  • Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service to build customer loyalty.
  • Cross-sell bank products and services based on customer needs.
  • Conduct customer needs assessments and offer tailored financial solutions.
  • Monitor client accounts, manage risks, and maintain a healthy portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

2. Head of Operations

Department: Shared Services
Reports to: Director – Technology & Operations

Job Description:
The Head of Operations will oversee the Bank’s end-to-end operations function to ensure efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment with business goals. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving process improvements and digital operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of banking operations, including transaction processing, clearing, payments, and back-office functions.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the bank’s strategic goals.
  • Ensure robust operational controls and adherence to risk management frameworks.
  • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Manage cost-effective and efficient service delivery channels.
  • Lead a high-performing team and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external regulators to ensure seamless operations.

3. Relationship Manager – Coast Region

Department: Branch Banking
Reports to: Branch Manager
Location: Coast Region

Job Description:
The Relationship Manager for the Coast Region will be charged with expanding the bank’s presence in the coastal market through strategic client acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key customer relationships, growing deposits and loan books, and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
  • Build and nurture customer relationships to increase share of wallet.
  • Conduct regular client visits and engagement to understand customer needs.
  • Provide financial advisory and customized banking solutions.
  • Track performance against set targets and take corrective action as needed.
  • Maintain high compliance and ethical standards in all customer dealings.
  • Act as the bank’s brand ambassador in the region.

4. Senior Manager – Operations

Department: Shared Services
Reports to: Head – Operations

Job Description:
The Senior Manager – Operations will support the Head of Operations in overseeing daily operational activities. This role focuses on improving internal processes, maintaining compliance standards, and ensuring seamless service delivery across the bank’s operational units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage key operational functions such as payments, clearing, and reconciliations.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements for operational effectiveness.
  • Support in the development and enforcement of operational policies and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with operational risk guidelines and audit requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of operations officers to ensure high levels of performance.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers and vendors.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth end-to-end service delivery.
