Claims Officer – Kikuyu
Job Description:
The Claims Officer will play a pivotal role in managing and processing medical insurance claims, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions. This position requires a keen eye for detail and an understanding of insurance procedures and healthcare documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify submitted claims to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with insurance policies.
- Prepare and submit insurance claims to providers within stipulated timelines.
- Follow up on pending claims and ensure resolution of claim-related issues with insurers.
- Maintain an updated record of claims submissions, rejections, and approvals.
- Liaise with clinical and administrative staff to gather required documentation.
- Analyze claims data and generate reports for management.
- Respond to queries from insurance providers and maintain professional relationships.
- Support audits and reconciliation of insurance claim payments.
