As part of our Bungoma Town branch opening, we are hiring for the following positions:

1. Pastry Chef / Cake Decorator (1 Position)
As a Pastry Chef / Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for designing, preparing, and presenting visually stunning and delicious baked products. Your role will focus on crafting signature cakes and desserts that align with the Taji brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of baked goods such as cakes, pastries, tarts, and cookies following traditional and modern recipes.
- Decorate cakes and other desserts with attention to detail, using fondant, icing, and other decorating tools to meet customer specifications.
- Maintain consistency in taste and presentation while innovating and developing new pastry items for the menu.
- Ensure all baking and decorating tasks are completed within set timelines, especially for special orders and events.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and baking equipment.
- Manage inventory and stock levels of baking supplies and ingredients.
- Adhere to food safety standards and ensure high hygiene practices in all baking operations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
2. Water Production Officer (1 Position)
The Water Production Officer will oversee the production process of Taji Water, ensuring adherence to purification standards and efficient operations. This role requires attention to detail, quality control, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of water purification and bottling processes.
- Monitor the 12-stage purification systems to ensure optimal functioning and water quality.
- Maintain accurate records of production volumes, quality checks, and maintenance logs.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
- Identify production inefficiencies and implement solutions for improved performance.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and distribution of purified water.

3. Cashiers (2 Positions)
Cashiers are the face of our customer service team. They ensure smooth transactions and excellent customer service while managing cash and point-of-sale systems effectively.

- Greet customers warmly and answer any questions they may have.
- Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale system including cash, mobile payments, and credit/debit cards.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change as required.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and reconcile receipts at the end of each shift.
- Ensure that checkout areas are clean, orderly, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Handle customer complaints or direct them to the appropriate supervisor.
- Promote products and inform customers of ongoing promotions or offers.
- Uphold high standards of customer service and represent the Taji brand with professionalism.
4. Riders (1 Position)
The Rider will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of orders to customers and clients. This role requires someone who is reliable, familiar with Bungoma Town, and committed to excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver customer orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Verify order details before departure and upon delivery to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure safe handling and transportation of food and beverage items.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the assigned delivery motorcycle.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and customer feedback.
- Maintain communication with kitchen and cashier teams to coordinate delivery logistics.
- Ensure adherence to all road safety regulations.
- Assist with other errands and tasks as needed when delivery volumes are low.
5. Head Chef (1 Position)

- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled safely.
