Job Advertisement: Recruitment for Door Attendants (Casual Labourers) at the Nairobi Film Centre – Kenya Film Classification Board

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), a government agency under the Ministry of ICT and Digital Economy, is charged with the mandate of regulating the creation, broadcasting, possession, distribution, and exhibition of film and broadcast content in Kenya. KFCB works to ensure that all content distributed across the country reflects the national aspirations, moral standards, and cultural values, as stipulated in the Films and Stage Plays Act Cap 222.

The NFC, formerly known as Nairobi Cinema and now rebranded as a revitalized cultural hub, plays a central role in the promotion of Kenyan film and creative arts.

To support the seamless operation of this iconic facility, KFCB is seeking to recruit a dedicated individual to serve as a Door Attendant on a casual basis. The Door Attendant will play a key role in ensuring customer service, security, coordination, and upkeep of the Nairobi Film Centre premises.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to serve in a dynamic cultural institution, contribute to the creative sector, and gain experience in public service and event management.
