1. Senior Risk Management Officer – Job Group ‘N’ (CSG 8)

Number of Positions: 1
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 52,330 – 96,130 per month
House Allowance: Ksh. 25,500 per month
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 8,000 per month

Job Description:
The Senior Risk Management Officer will report directly to the Chief Principal. The officer will collaborate with the internal audit department to design and implement risk-based audits, ensure the maintenance of secure and detailed risk and compliance records, and facilitate the preparation of periodic risk reports to the management. The officer will also be responsible for the development and application of internal controls to mitigate risks, identification of emerging risks, and ensuring full regulatory compliance with institutions such as CBK, CMA, IRA, KRA, NSSF, and adherence to the Data Protection Act.

Other duties include:

  • Monitoring policy and procedure compliance
  • Developing and maintaining risk and compliance documentation
  • Ensuring the institution meets all internal and external audit requirements

2. Security Officer I – Job Group ‘L’ (CSG 9)

Number of Positions: 1
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 46,120 – 65,860 per month
House Allowance: Ksh. 22,000 per month
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 6,000 per month

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Principal, the Security Officer I will be responsible for maintaining proper security records, including incidents, security surveys, and contingency plans. The officer will ensure effective implementation of emergency procedures and the development of security documentation such as pass systems and registers.

Key duties include:

  • Coordinating training and staff development on security matters
  • Conducting regular security inspections and surveys
  • Liaising with external agencies through official security forums
  • Overseeing the deployment and functionality of security systems, such as CCTV

3. Internal Audit Officer II – Job Group ‘K’ (CSG 10)

Number of Positions: 2
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 41,420 – 57,230 per month
House Allowance: Ksh. 12,800 per month
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 5,000 per month

Job Summary:
The Internal Audit Officer II will report to the Internal Auditor and will be charged with providing independent and objective assurance services to the institution. This includes assisting in the internal control assessments, compliance audits, risk management evaluations, and offering advisory input to the internal audit function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting audit assignments as per the approved audit plan
  • Documenting audit findings and drafting reports with recommendations
  • Following up on implementation of audit recommendations
  • Ensuring conformity with institutional and national audit standards

4. Supply Chain Management Officer II – Job Group ‘K’ (CSG 10)

Number of Positions: 2
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 41,420 – 57,230 per month
House Allowance: Ksh. 12,800 per month
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 5,000 per month

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the officer will be responsible for managing procurement activities, including the review and implementation of supply policies and manuals. The position requires oversight of all supply chain operations such as procurement planning, warehousing, distribution, tendering processes, and contract management.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and updating procurement records and systems
  • Coordinating tender committee documentation
  • Ensuring proper inventory management
  • Managing supplier relations and compliance with procurement laws

5. Driver – Job Group ‘G’ (CSG 13)

Number of Positions: 1
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 25,420 – 33,170 per month
House Allowance: Ksh. 4,500 per month
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 4,000 per month

Job Summary:
The Driver will be responsible for operating assigned vehicles safely and efficiently. This includes transporting personnel and goods, performing minor mechanical tasks, and ensuring regular vehicle maintenance. The officer will also handle vehicle-related documentation and compliance with institutional transport policies.

Key duties include:

  • Conducting daily routine checks on vehicles
  • Keeping vehicles clean and in good working condition
  • Carrying out oiling, greasing, and tyre checks
  • Reporting vehicle faults and coordinating necessary repairs
  • Ensuring road safety standards are upheld

6. CBET Trainer – Pharmacy (Part-time)

Number of Positions: 10
Terms of Service: Contract (TKNP Terms)

Job Summary:
This role requires experienced trainers to guide students in the pharmacy discipline under the Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) framework. The Trainer will handle both theoretical instruction and practical sessions, oversee students during industrial attachment, and participate in curriculum development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching specialized pharmacy modules
  • Preparing training materials and assessment tools
  • Supervising and assessing trainees on attachment
  • Conducting research and curriculum improvement projects
  • Reporting on trainee progress and skill acquisition
  • Participating in academic reviews and quality assurance processes
