Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Execution
- Translation of National to Regional Strategy: The role holder will be responsible for localizing national marketing strategies into impactful, region-specific programs. These programs must effectively drive customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and revenue growth within the assigned region.
- Insight-Driven Campaign Development: All marketing tactics and activations should be guided by solid consumer, market, and channel insights, ensuring maximum relevance and effectiveness.
Business Growth and Target Achievement
- Revenue Accountability: The incumbent is expected to contribute directly to the achievement of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets by delivering commercial initiatives that resonate with the regional market.
- Cluster and Site Prioritization: Analyze and segment regional territories to prioritize high-opportunity zones for marketing investment and activity rollout.
Shopper Marketing and Brand Engagement
- Trade Activation & Shopper Programs: Conceptualize, deploy, and evaluate in-store and trade-specific marketing plans across all relevant retail and distribution channels.
- POS Material Management: Ensure full compliance and quality control over point-of-sale materials, signage, and visibility elements across the region.
Budget Ownership and ROI Delivery
- Budget Oversight: Manage the end-to-end regional marketing budget with full ownership. Ensure optimal allocation of funds to activities that offer the highest return on investment.
- Campaign Measurement and Optimization: Evaluate campaign effectiveness post-execution and implement key learnings for continuous improvement.
Team Leadership and Stakeholder Collaboration
- Cross-Functional Integration: Foster collaboration between the marketing team and key stakeholders such as sales, trade, and channel development teams to ensure unified go-to-market strategies.
- Coaching & Development: Offer mentorship and guidance to junior team members, enhancing overall team performance and capability.
Agency and Partner Management
- BTL Campaign Oversight: Develop and execute below-the-line (BTL) and experiential marketing campaigns in partnership with external agencies.
- Agency Briefing and Quality Control: Ensure all agency partners are adequately briefed and deliver high-quality outputs aligned with the brand’s vision.
Health, Safety, and Governance
- Policy Adherence: Demonstrate high levels of integrity by strictly following company code of conduct, compliance standards, and all internal policies.
- Workplace Safety: Champion safety and wellbeing in the workplace by ensuring all decisions and activities comply with health and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- An undergraduate degree in a business-related discipline is mandatory.
- A postgraduate certification in Sales & Marketing will be considered a significant advantage.
- 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing roles, with proven expertise in trade marketing, category development, or brand management.
- Strong commercial acumen and a strategic mindset to align marketing tactics with revenue objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead large-scale regional campaigns with multiple moving parts.
- High proficiency in using customer insights and market data to design effective marketing interventions.
- Experience in managing agency partners and large promotional budgets.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking skills with a sharp eye for detail.
- Superior communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
