1. Assistant Deputy Director, Partnerships and Resource Mobilization

Job Description:
The Assistant Deputy Director for Partnerships and Resource Mobilization will be responsible for identifying, establishing, and nurturing strategic alliances to expand KTB’s capacity for tourism promotion through resource mobilization and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement partnership frameworks that align with KTB’s strategic priorities.
- Lead initiatives to mobilize financial and non-financial resources from both the public and private sectors.
- Develop proposals for funding from donors, development partners, and other strategic stakeholders.
- Maintain active engagement with existing and potential partners to strengthen cooperation and shared objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of resource mobilization efforts and report outcomes.

2. Assistant Deputy Director, Business Tourism and Events

This role will lead the development and execution of strategies targeting the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) segment, positioning Kenya as a leading business tourism hub in Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement national strategies for the growth of the MICE sector.
- Identify and attract major international and regional conferences and exhibitions to Kenya.
- Build strong relationships with convention bureaus, corporate entities, and government institutions to enhance Kenya’s competitiveness in business tourism.
- Oversee promotional campaigns and bids for international MICE events.

- Monitor social media trends, respond to comments and queries, and provide community management.
