Compliance & Data Protection Officer

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Compliance and Data Protection Officer, within Jubilee Health Insurance Limited. The position holder will report to the Manager–Risk, Compliance & Money Laundering Reporting Officer and will be based at our Head Office in Nairobi.

Laws, Regulations, Company Policies:

1. Stay informed about applicable laws and regulations, including Insurance Act, Data Protection Act and regulations, AML/CFT laws and
   other relevant statutory requirements
2. Ensure that your actions and activities align with Laws, Regulations, Company Policies & Regulatory Guidelines
3. Understand and adhere to internal company policies, processes, and procedures.
4. Promptly report any instances of non-compliance to management and the Manager, Risk and Compliance.
5. Take proactive measures to mitigate compliance risks within your role and department.
6. Participate in training programs and awareness sessions organized by the company to enhance your understanding of compliance
   requirements.

Key Skills and Competencies

1. Expertise in data protection law and practice.
2. Expertise in regulatory compliance and its management.
3. A good understanding of Company IT infrastructure and systems.
4. Experience and knowledge of the organization’s data processing operations and the level of data protection required for what is
   processed.
