We are looking for talented individuals to fill the following positions in our company.
Accounts Assistant – Treasury
This role holder plays a crucial role in supporting the treasury function by ensuring efficient cash flow management, accurate financial record-keeping, and compliance with financial policies. This role assists in managing liquidity, processing payments, reconciling bank transactions, and mitigating financial risks to support smooth business operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts and reports
- Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other transactions accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and banking regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements with accounting records to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in managing bank relationships, including account maintenance and documentation.
- Support in executing foreign exchange transactions.
- Manage fixed deposit schedules
- Prepare and maintain treasury-related reports (cash flow, payment registers, etc.).
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
- Prepare month-end journals and reconciliations related to treasury activities
- Assist with other operational finance tasks as required
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business related field.
- Prior experience in treasury, accounts payable, or banking (preferred in FMCG).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAGE), Excel, and banking platforms.
- Business related undergraduate degree.
- Accounting qualification, minimum CPA foundation level
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills
- At least 1 to 2 years accounting experience
