What You Will Gain
As a Graduate Learner, you will rotate across key business units in the Technology segment to immerse yourself in both transactional and specialist functions. You’ll work with seasoned professionals and thought leaders, gaining practical knowledge and contributing to projects that shape the future of digital banking in Africa.
You will be expected to:
- Understand and perform daily tasks within your assigned technology unit.
- Participate in innovation-driven assignments aligned to business needs.
- Apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
- Research and present on evolving technology trends such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity.

Your Rotation Journey Will Include:
1. Service Management
You will support day-to-day IT operations and incident handling while learning how to ensure service stability and continuity. Gain insights into ITIL practices and help drive customer-centric improvements in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor system performance and user issues.
- Participate in root cause analysis and service reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure uptime and performance metrics are met.
2. Enterprise Architecture
Get introduced to the strategic blueprint behind our IT systems. Learn how architects align business strategy with technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing architecture artifacts.
- Understand integration points across systems and platforms.
- Help in evaluating tools and technology stacks.
3. Applications Development
Experience the software development lifecycle from design to deployment. Work on internal and client-facing applications using modern coding practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and testing.
- Assist in debugging and improving existing applications.
4. Cybersecurity
Explore the exciting world of information security. Learn to identify vulnerabilities, ensure data privacy, and respond to cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and participate in security audits.
- Assist in user access reviews and compliance reporting.
- Monitor network traffic for potential threats.
5. Agile Project Office
Gain hands-on experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban. Learn how modern technology projects are planned, tracked, and delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Assist in backlog grooming and project tracking.
- Support project documentation and stakeholder communication.
6. Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
Discover the backbone of organizational trust. Learn how policies, controls, and risk frameworks ensure ethical and secure operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support policy implementation and risk assessments.
- Participate in compliance audits and reporting.
- Analyze data for GRC reporting dashboards.
7. Infrastructure & Cloud
Get introduced to the foundations of digital systems. Learn how servers, networks, and cloud platforms support our enterprise services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support cloud migration tasks and server maintenance.
- Assist in configuration of virtual environments.
- Work with teams on network performance and storage solutions.
8. Data Analytics
Use data to unlock insights and drive decisions. Learn tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, and Tableau to manipulate and visualize datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, process, and analyze raw data.
- Build dashboards and reporting tools.
- Present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
9. Artificial Intelligence
Work at the cutting edge of innovation. Engage with machine learning and AI tools to build intelligent models that enhance banking services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in training machine learning models.
- Research AI trends and innovations.
- Participate in proof-of-concept projects for AI-driven applications.
Who We Are Looking For
This program is ideal for recent graduates passionate about solving complex problems using technology. We are seeking individuals who are not just technically sound, but also demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, and leadership potential.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Information Systems).
- Graduated within the last two years.
- Available full-time from 1st August 2025 to 31st January 2026.
