Job Summary
The Relationship Manager – Institutional Banking will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of relationships with government and quasi-government institutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for business development initiatives, generating institutional deposits, conducting client presentations, and implementing financial solutions tailored to client needs.

Principal Accountabilities
- Business Development and Planning
- Identify growth opportunities within government and quasi-government institutions.
- Develop and implement strategies for capturing new business through targeted outreach and structured presentations.
- Perform continuous market situation analysis to evaluate existing opportunities and identify new areas for expansion.
- Client Relationship Management
- Understand clients’ organizational structures, financial needs, and banking behavior to provide tailored financial solutions.
- Match institutional client needs with HFC’s product suite, preparing compelling proposals and delivering insightful presentations.
- Develop long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key institutional clients and decision-makers.
- Revenue Generation and Profitability
- Negotiate terms and conditions that align with both client needs and institutional profitability.
- Drive deposit mobilization through structured sales campaigns and activations.
- Monitor and manage account performance to ensure alignment with business objectives and client expectations.
- Product Implementation and Support
- Ensure seamless implementation of financial solutions with minimal disruption to client operations.

- Coordinate joint client visits with other Relationship Managers, particularly those handling scheme and investment banking clients, to manage the institutional value chain.

- Feedback and Market Insights
- Collect and analyze client feedback to inform future product development and marketing strategies.
- Continuously update internal teams on market trends, competitor activities, and institutional needs to keep the organization agile and responsive.

- Maintain strict adherence to the bank’s compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
