Job Purpose
The Tele Sales Agent (SWM) plays a pivotal role in the acquisition and retention of clients through outbound and inbound telesales. The incumbent will be responsible for promoting and selling Old Mutual’s products and services via telephone, contributing directly to the company’s business objectives in customer growth, satisfaction, and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement and Product Promotion
- Initiate outbound calls to prospective clients to promote Old Mutual’s products and services, especially savings and wealth management (SWM) solutions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound inquiries and requests from potential or existing customers.
- Accurately explain the features and benefits of various financial products to clients, ensuring a thorough understanding before proceeding with sales.
- Provide excellent service that meets the standards of Old Mutual and complies with internal sales scripts, regulatory frameworks, and company policies.
- Sales Execution and Revenue Generation
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as set by the team leader or sales manager.
- Close sales efficiently over the phone, ensuring all relevant customer data and sales processes are properly documented.
- Actively follow up on leads and callbacks to convert prospects into paying customers.
- Upsell or cross-sell additional financial products when appropriate to drive value for both the client and the company.
- Customer Service and Retention

- Generate daily reports on call activity, conversion rates, and client feedback to aid performance reviews and improve service delivery.
