Business Analyst
Responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the business needs of the business stakeholders, including customers and end users. The person is responsible for bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. Business Analysts work with domain experts to solicit and identify business requirements and address usability concerns, and document solutions. Under the guidance of senior Business Analyst, the person will aid in gathering, analyzing, and documenting both business requirements and comprehensive solutions for changes and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for projects, systems, or processes.
- Assisting in the prioritization of business requirements and defining project scope and objectives.
- Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
- Facilitating communication between stakeholders and IT teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements.
- Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure that the final product meets the documented requirements and specifications.
- Provide support to end users during implementation and post-implementation phases
- Monitoring the changes in baseline requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools.
- Work with senior business analysts to manage requirements, traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project.
- Contributing to the development of test plans and test scripts as well as performing test execution to ensure the solution aligns with business needs.
- Assist in training of end users, creation of training materials and user guides, and oversee the process of guaranteeing user acceptance and competency.
The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study
- Professional Qualifications such as ITIL Foundation, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), TOGAF Certification will be an additional advantage.
- Project Management certification such as PRINCE II (Practitioner) / Agile PM / PMI-ACP / Certified Agile Project Manager (IAPM) / Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- 2 years’ progressive experience in Information Technology is essential
- 1 year of experience in Business analysis and architecture is essential
- 1 year’ experience in IT Projects is essential
- 1 year experience in Emerging Technologies (e.g. Mobile, Internet Banking, Cloud, Microservices etc, is desired.
- 1 year of experience in Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment is desired
