Position Overview
The LPG Shop Attendant is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the LPG shop. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, handling LPG cylinder exchanges, ensuring product availability, and upholding strict safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide guidance on LPG cylinder exchanges and ensure customers receive the correct products.
- Address customer complaints and inquiries promptly and effectively.
2. LPG Handling
- Store, handle, and exchange LPG cylinders according to safety protocols.
- Inspect LPG cylinders for proper condition before filling or exchanging.
- Maintain a clean, ventilated, and compliant shop environment.
3. Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and inform the Supply and Commercial team when replenishment is needed.
- Ensure all LPG products are clearly labeled, properly stored, and rotated.
- Assist in receiving and verifying new stock deliveries.
4. Safety and Compliance
- Follow all safety and regulatory standards for LPG cylinder storage and handling.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with safety codes and environmental regulations.
- Immediately report any safety issues or violations to management.
5. Cash Handling
- Accurately process customer transactions including cash, card, and mobile payments.
- Ensure proper pricing and accurate billing for LPG products.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service, integrity, and interpersonal conduct.
- Competence in basic arithmetic and record-keeping.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office is an added advantage.
