Are you passionate about administration and learning support? Kenya Airways is looking for a KQ Academy Administrative Assistant to join the People Department and contribute to the seamless delivery of learning and development experiences at the Pride Centre. This role is critical in maintaining the day-to-day operations of KQ Academy, ensuring professional service delivery, and providing a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
As the KQ Academy Administrative Assistant, you will:
- Welcome guests and handle deliveries to ensure excellent customer service at KQ Academy.
- Maintain accurate administrative records to support daily operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for KQ Academy inquiries and customers.
- Coordinate the booking and setup of classrooms and training venues.
- Process student applications in a timely and compliant manner.
- Support and oversee service providers at the Pride Centre, including those in cleaning, IT, catering, documentation, and training support.
- Monitor and manage stationery and printing material usage, maintaining adequate and accountable stock.
- Ensure prompt billing and follow-up of student fee payments.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- At least 5 years’ experience in administrative roles within a large service organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic knowledge of accounting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of standard office procedures.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Familiarity with student information systems is an added advantage.
