1. Chief Executive – Strathmore Academy for International Research and Collaboration (SAIRC)
Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Job Purpose:
The Chief Executive is tasked with providing visionary leadership and strategic direction for the SAIRC Research Network Secretariat. The role encompasses oversight of daily operations, the advancement of the academy’s mission, and building partnerships that enhance the academy’s global visibility and research excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of strategic plans to grow and sustain the academy’s global presence.
- Manage day-to-day operations and administration of SAIRC, including human and financial resources.
- Supervise staff and agents responsible for executing the academy’s initiatives.
- Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative, and inclusive organizational culture.
- Build relationships with global stakeholders, including universities, research bodies, and policy institutions.
- Represent SAIRC in high-level external forums, advocating for its mission and interests.
- Ensure the effective coordination of research programs, funding applications, and policy advocacy efforts.
2. Associate Manager – Strathmore University Institutional Ethics Review Committee (SU-IERC)
Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Job Purpose:
The Associate Manager oversees the daily operations of the SU-IERC, ensuring the ethical review process is conducted in compliance with local and international standards. The role supports the ethical integrity of all research involving human subjects at Strathmore University.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all administrative functions of the SU-IERC.
- Ensure compliance with national and international ethics standards.
- Provide leadership and support to the committee members and secretariat.
- Maintain records of submissions, decisions, and correspondence.
- Liaise with researchers and institutions to ensure adherence to approved protocols.
- Develop and implement systems to streamline committee operations.
- Organize ethics training workshops for staff and students.
3. Senior Manager – Financial Aid Office

Job Purpose:
This role involves overseeing the administration and strategic planning of financial aid initiatives. The Senior Manager ensures equitable access to education through well-managed student financial support systems.
Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor compliance with vehicle safety and transport regulations.

5. Research Assistant – School of Tourism and Hospitality (STH)
